Awaken ME is a coalition of Pastors and Christian businessmen and women who meet together weekly to network and promote the welfare of the body of Christ in our city and state, our nation and the whole world. Awaken Me is now meeting in a garage behind a house! We moved in to the garage during the easly covid days (February of 2020). The restaurants at that time were all being asked to close and limit capactity to small tables. We were very careful to be sure that we followed the Govenors lead and adhered to all the safe sound protocols to insure the health and safety of those who attend. We have been blessed by God and we have seen His hand keep us during this time.

Some may ask why a garage?????????There seemed to be no where large enough for followers of Christ from different churches and different ministries to meet on a weekly basis. We needed a safe stable place to worship, to pray, to hear the Word and to fellowship. Remember at that time, many churches were closing, even on Sundays. Many churches closed down not only their weekly in person worship meetings, they also shut down their weekly in the home ministries.

Some of us felt that God wanted His body to continue meeting, so when the garage became availble, we moved into a nice large air conditioned and heated space with chairs tables and a sound system. We are still on Facebook each week broadcasting as Awaken Memphis, and Awaken Me is on AM 990/FM 107.9 on Sunday monrings at 10am.

Each week different pastors are asked to speak. Our worship music is lead by Paul Berkes and Bruce Carroll. Alvin Mckinney also joins in as well as others.

In the early days on Facebook it was…… Early bird gets the Word! Our goal is always the same…..

to provide quality teaching and traininig for followers of Chirst at no charge.

We are not going to ask you for money, but we do ask for you to pray with us and for us, as the body of Christ.

We also ask you bear with us as we begin this digital journey. We will respond, but it may take awhile.

We are all volunteers and we have no paid staff.
